This collage is the result of feelings evoked after I read a  wonderful poem posted by Richard C., on the LSR e-mail list, titled "Prediction: none".  It spoke to me about the randomness of life and how much of what comes about for us may just be about the time and place where we are. It occurred to me that there was one perfect moment in time for me to reach out for every resource and to get sober. Before that time, I could not have even predicted for myself whether a day of sobriety would ever be mine. I had become the negative of myself, a tired walking shadow."
