Use a Rubber Stamp for Attendance Slips

If your meeting convenes at or near a treatment facility, many of the participants will probably be carrying personal attendance slips.  They pick up the blank slips at the facility.  They have to get each meeting secretary to put in the date, the name of the meeting, and the secretary's signature, as proof that they attended the meeting.  They have to turn in the filled slips to their counselor.  Some courts, probation departments and other agencies use a similar system.   As meeting secretary, you are expected to cooperate by filling the form.

If you have more than one or two of these forms to deal with, you can end up spending precious meeting time fussing with this paperwork instead of participating in the meeting.  Here's a way to cut this tedium: the self-inking LifeRing rubber stamp.  Ask your participants to fill in the date themselves.  Use the stamp to stand for the meeting name, and just add your initials; or let the stamp serve for both.  You're done with this chore in a few seconds, and it's neat and distinctive.

Impression size (left) is 1/4" (0.6 cm) high by 1" (2.5 cm) wide.  Stamp is self-inking, no pad required.
